HHH organizes work parties to clean up the heron habitat. We remove invasive ivy and blackberry, and have been working to plant native plants in their place. In addition, we pull weeds, water as necessary, and clear paths for workers' access.
Come prepared for hard work, mud, and thorns! Wear leather gloves, long pants and sleeves - clothes that cover and can get grubby. HHH provides tools, snacks, and drinks.
For information on the next work party, check the Events Calendars. We hope to see you there!
For general information about each work party or to volunteer to help with watering, please contact Gail Lassman at gail.lassman@comcast.net or call her at 206-282-1243.
